Pantry Café, Al Wasl Rd, Safa Park, Dubai

Breakfast. This busy little café is located on the corner of Safa park and Al Wasl Rd and attracts quite a mixed crowd of expats and Emirati’s for their gourmet breakfast offerings. Giving the option to sit inside or covered patio myself and Dubrekkie1 opted for the outside option. Menus are electronic on small tablet devices that provide you the opportunity to see a picture of the meal rather than just a narrative which I thought was a really good idea. I opted for Truffle Mushrooms on Toast with a poached egg, and Dubrekkie1 went for 2 x poached eggs on toast. We could have selected from many pastries, breakfast options, an egg menu or cereals if we had wanted as the menu was quite extensive. Service was prompt as was the food delivery. Both the dishes ordered were really well presented and tasted great – no complaints there, and prices were reasonable. The only let down if you have to look for one is the view but the quality of food should make up for that.
