How did all this start about?
We happened to be going for a lot of breakfasts both socially and in order to convene meetings to discuss work projects; progress and the like. This was not really understood many people around us who believed it was just a ruse to sit around and eat fry ups and drink coffee. Therefore one day I mentioned that I was considering creating a review site for breakfasts around the Dubai area. This is the outcome, and a reference point for ourselves and any interested others.
I should point out that we are in no way qualified other than that all of us have been eating for in excess of 10 years in the middle east and over 40 years individually.
Although breakfasts were the catalysts we will include other pertinent observations and outings by sticking to four main categories – Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Other Stuff and tag each post accordingly for easy reference.
The form of each post will cover the following criteria. Location, Date, Meal Type, Order, Ambience, Menu Choice, Quality of Food, Quality of Service, Value for Money. The latter 4 subjects will be rated on a scale of 1 (terrible) to 10 (outstanding).
